SPORTY INTO AUTUMN: RUN THROUGH THE HARZ NATIONAL PARK

Katronic takes part in northern Germany's most difficult run

In beautiful sunshine and mild temperatures, around 550 runners from all over the world started on Saturday, 9 October 2021, for the toughest race in northern Germany: 43rd Harz-Gebirgslauf - around 1000 metres in altitude, quarter or marathon distance of 12 or 42 km with stony, endurance-challenging climbs and picturesque views.

We were successfully represented by the sporty Katronic-CEO Karsten Frahn. Karsten, who has always taken part since the 2nd Harz-Gebirgslauf, completed the 12 km distance with an overall time of 01:07:39, finishing in a worthy 17th place in the 55+ age group and 172nd place in the overall men's ranking.

We congratulate Karsten Frahn on his excellent performance and look forward to the Harzgebirgslauf with a larger number of participants in 2022!
