Exercise, health and working together – these were the causes championed by eight-year-old Christina, a pupil at Francke Primary School in Wernigerode, during the charity run organised by her school. The pupils were asked to find sponsors who would support their sporting achievements with a donation to the school.

Improving Efficiency at the Maggi Plant: Reducing Heat Loss through Precise Measurements

How can hidden energy losses in a complex production facility be identified and sustainably reduced? At the long-established Maggi plant in Singen, Katronic used precise flow and thermal energy measurements to identify significant energy-saving opportunities. The result: an optimised heating system, annual energy cost savings of around €10,000, and an important step towards CO₂-neutral production.
