The KATflow 150 is the most versatile measurement system amongst stationary clamp-on flowmeters – ideal for demanding applications that require maximum flexibility and a wide range of functions. Thanks to its modular design and customisable features, the KATflow 150 can be tailored precisely to specific customer applications.
Two independent measurement channels allow simultaneous monitoring of two pipes. This means that multiple measurement points can be monitored using just one device, thereby reducing both installation effort and costs. Alternatively, measurements on individual pipes are possible in two-path mode. The sensor pairs, installed in a cross-configuration, ensure high measurement accuracy, particularly under difficult flow conditions. Integrated calculation functions such as sum, difference, average and maximum value support precise evaluation of the measurement data and efficient process monitoring.
The lockable IP66 polycarbonate housing with key lock provides reliable protection against unauthorised use and ensures safe operation in industrial environments. The open architecture allows the integration of all available sensors, process outputs and communication interfaces. Up to ten freely configurable slots, including RS 485, Modbus RTU, Profibus PA and HART*, enable a wide range of applications – from flow and heat measurement through to automated process control and specialised monitoring and product identification tasks.
