Why choose the KATflow 100?
The KATflow 100 is a clamp-on flowmeter with a robust design for continuous measurements on individual pipes. With its deliberately streamlined features, it offers an efficient solution for standardised measurement tasks – ideal for large-scale projects and series production applications.
The measurement electronics are housed in a sturdy yet lightweight IP66 aluminium casing, which protects against dust, moisture and mechanical stress. Combined with high-quality IP66 stainless steel sensors, this guarantees reliable long-term operation in industrial environments. The KATflow 100 can be mounted either on a wall or directly on the pipe and is also suitable for use in confined spaces. The device can be powered via either AC or DC.
Despite its streamlined design, the device offers flexible configuration options and numerous communication interfaces, including Modbus, 4–20 mA and open-collector, and can be effortlessly integrated into existing systems. With the help of the digital bidirectional totaliser, measured values can be continuously recorded and totalled over defined time periods. In addition to pure flow measurement, the device also enables heat quantity measurements in combination with Pt 100 or Pt 1000 temperature sensors.
The KATflow 100 combines a compact design with flexible configuration options and low purchase costs. This makes it a practical and cost-effective solution for applications where simplicity and functionality are equally important.
