Welcome to Katronic to celebrate our 25th anniversary

To mark our 25th anniversary, we at Katronic AG & Co. KG Germany welcomed international guests, sales partners and staff from the United Kingdom to a three-day celebration. We were delighted that all our guests accepted our invitation and that we were able to celebrate a wonderful, vibrant event together, featuring interesting encounters, discussions and ideas for future business activities.

To kick off our celebrations, we began with a technical conference at the ‘Gothisches Haus Wernigerode’ hotel, where all participants were able to gain an overview of the industrial sectors in which Katronic’s clamp-on flow and heat meters are successfully used. A number of sales partners presented niche applications which, on closer inspection, effectively met customer needs, thereby sparking interdisciplinary interest amongst the audience. An excellent dinner rounded off a very inspiring first day.

The halfway point of our celebrations was themed ‘Activities of your choice’. The options included: a round of golf, a ride on a heritage railway combined with a walk, or a sightseeing tour ‘Through Six Centuries’ in our colourful town in the Harz Mountains, Wernigerode. Some of the visitors decided to explore Wernigerode and the surrounding area on their own. Taking a breather halfway through our anniversary celebrations was important for everyone, to recharge their batteries for the following, extremely lively final event of the day – a boisterous party at the largest Oktoberfest in Saxony-Anhalt.

For all those who wanted to delve deeper into the applications and limitations of our ultrasonic flow measurement technology, our hands-on workshop offered the ideal opportunity for closer exchange and in-depth discussion with our technicians at the start of the third day of our celebrations. This was followed by a ‘Football World Cup’ featuring four specially formed teams: the World All-Stars, England, Germany and ‘Figo’s Friends’. Throughout the tournament, various food trucks and drinks vans ensured our guests and footballers were well catered for. Bouncy castles and a wide range of games kept our youngest guests entertained. All the players and visitors thoroughly enjoyed the event; although Germany won the tournament, the result was really just a side issue.

The evening of the third day of the programme, which also marked the conclusion of our 25th-anniversary celebrations, took place at the “Elmo Klub Wernigerode”. Everyone danced to electronic music and enjoyed a few final drinks before saying a warm goodbye to one another and setting off for home.
