Coventry Open Christmas

Once again this year, Katronic will be supporting Coventry Open Christmas, a local volunteer organization run by the "Grub & Gab Club." The organization has been in existence for over 20 years and provides shelter and meals to homeless and lonely people during the Christmas season. Over the course of 5 nights, more than 600 meals and additional snacks, as well as more than 3,000 servings of tea and coffee, will be served.

We hope that, with your generosity, we can help make this a truly special time for the people who use their services.

We are collecting the following items through December 20, 2021:

• Bedding—clean comforters, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, and sheets.

• Clothing—coats, sweaters, fleece jackets, T-shirts, pants, socks, underwear (new only, please), hats, gloves, and scarves.

• Toiletries—toothbrushes, razors, soap, shower gel, aftershave and shaving cream, towels, face cloths, wipes, hygiene products, and deodorants.

• Food (non-perishable) - Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, UHT milk, pumpkin, cake, meatloaf, cookies, chips, candy, chocolate, canned meat/fish, baked beans, canned spaghetti, soup, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned pudding, breakfast cereals, brown/red sauce, mustard, pickles, salt and pepper, and cooking oil.

We’d like to encourage everyone to donate to Coventry Open Christmas.

We also need volunteers to help us get everything we’ve collected to where it needs to go.
